Portopalo di Capo Passero

Portopalo of Capo Passero is the southernmost town of Italy, islands apart. Portopalo di Capo Passero is under the province of Syracuse, a watershed between two seas, the Ionian and the Mediterranean. Authentic wonders of nature are the two islands that rise in front of the village and that are part of the municipality: the island of Capo Passero and Isola delle Correnti. Its coast is characterised by small rocky coves, where the blue and crystalline sea creeps into a long sandy coast.
